What is Park and Play?

Park and Play, an initiative of Family Services Australia, offer FREE fun play activities in local parks for children and families.

The play sessions are creative, healthy and outdoors, helping children learn about the world and each other, build friendships and learn new skills. Park and Play also connects families with services and supports in their local community.

Park and Play runs 4 days a week in different parks across Shellharbour as well as one day per week in the Ulladulla region. The free weekly play sessions for children 0-5 years and their parents/ carers are supported by friendly, trained staff. Through Park and Play, parents and carers get to meet other adults caring for young children in their area, and also get to pick up new ideas for fun play activities that can be recreated at home.

Please note that parents or carers must be present at all times. The accompanying adult is responsible for the supervision and safety of their children.

How do I get involved?

Below are the current times and locations of Park and Play sessions. Simply turn up with your child/children or contact Family Services Australia if you would like more information. We also have a Facebook page and Instagram page where we regularly post for any changes including wet weather.

Don’t forget a hat, water and sunscreen!
